Description
These seeds produce a plant related to Swiss chards and beets, with some distinct differences. It tastes very similar to spinach, and the leaves are spinach-like as well. Spinach is a highly nutritious and popular salad green, and luckily it’s rather easy to grow, which makes it a good choice for beginner and experienced gardeners alike.
Sow 1/2″ deep, in moist soil, spaced 2-3″ apart in rows about 18″ apart. Partial sun/Full shade. Ideal for planting in early spring or late fall as this is a cool temperature crop. This plant does best in moist soil, so be sure to water regularly.
