Description
These seeds produce a variety of spinach with a solid green colour and red highlights. The flavour is similar to standard spinach, with red-tinted leaves being much sweeter and stronger than regular spinach. Spinach is a highly nutritious and popular salad green, and luckily it’s rather easy to grow, which makes it a good choice for beginner and experienced gardeners alike.
Late May, sow 1/2″ deep, 4″ apart in rows 12″ apart. Full sun. Well drained, slightly acidic soil is best. Water regularly as soil must be kept moist.
