Description
Used in a variety of Asian cuisines, Napa cabbage is a crunchy and delicious vegetable perfect either cooked or raw- in everything from salads to soups! With a gently bitter taste, you won’t be able to get enough of this vegetable once its in your garden.
Growing Napa cabbage can be a bit trickier for new gardeners, but it’s well worth it. Napa cabbage prefers colder weather, and is best grown in the spring and fall. Unlike other cabbages, Napa cabbage grows compactly and doesn’t require a lot of space as it grows- about 8″ from other plants should do, but can be planted as close as 2″. They enjoy rich, fertile, and moist soil.
