Description
Celery, you either love it or you hate it. With a distinct, bitter taste and a crunchy stalk, celery is one of the most popular vegetables for dipping, salads, soups, and even eating raw! While some can’t fathom enjoy the taste, others simply can’t get enough, so why not try it out in your garden today?
Celery is pretty easy to grow, even for beginners. Plant it outside once soil temperatures reach 10 degrees Celsius. They require a fertile soil. Add organic compost or manure to your soil to enrich it before planting. They also require lots of water- the soil should be kept moist, and celery cannot tolerate drought of any kind, whatsoever.
