Buttercup squash has similar growing needs as other types of squash. They need well-draining and fertile soil, in full sun. Add in organic compost or manure to enrich your soil before planting. Water about 1-2 inches per week. Water under the leaves, to prevent disease and fungus from forming on the leaves.
