Citrus fruits are a staple in a multitude of cuisines around the world, used in everything from seasoning food to adding a sweet, sour kick to a cocktail! Lemons are perhaps the most versatile among all the citrus fruits. Whether adding a kick to a meal, flavouring a cocktail, or creating a tart dessert, everyone could use more lemons in their lives. Fresh from the tree, they’ll be flavourful, aromatic and juicy. This particular variety of lemon is called ‘Eureka’.

Caring for a lemon tree is rather easy. In our chilly Canadian climate, it’s recommended to grow them indoors as they cannot withstand cold temperatures. They should be planted in a large pot, that allows them ample room to grow. They should be planted in a well-draining potting soil, and in a pot that allows water to run off freely- though they love water, they cannot sit in water. Place them in a location with full sun.
