Boxwoods are among some of the most attractive evergreen shrubs you can get. With their delicate, teardrop shaped foliage, that grows densely all around the plant. They make for gorgeous accents in any garden, and cuttings of their stems can make for beautiful inserts into arrangements, bouquets, or even on their own in a vase! This particular variety has yellow edging around its leaves, creating an even more striking plant.
Boxwood care is rather easy, with a few quirks. They can grow in full sun to full shade, but will be more dense the more sun they get. They prefer a slightly acidic to slightly alkaline soil. They are susceptible to gypsy moth infestations- to prevent or manage infestations, purchase BTK insecticide and spray thoroughly onto leaves.
