Description

Maple trees are the cornerstone of Canadian landscaping and gardening. With their beautiful, geometric leaves and the wide range of colours they turn throughout the year, there are few trees as gorgeous (or Canadian!). This particular variety does all the work of waiting for you- the leaves are a deep, burgundy red all year round, so that you can enjoy the colour for the whole growing season! They can reach up to 50 feet or more when they reach full maturity- which will be in about 100 years! This will be a treat for future generations to come. In our nursery, they range from about 6-8′ tall.

For such a majestic tree, they are quite easy to grow. They can only grow in full sun. They prefer average to moist conditions, and shouldn’t be allowed to dry out. It is not particular about soil conditions.
