Stonecrop is a family of various perennial, cold-hardy succulents, with fleshy foliage and magnificent blooms that vary in shape, size and colour from plant-to-plant. Certain varieties do not bloom. All, however, produce unique and eye-catching carpets of thick leaves. All types of stonecrop make for gorgeous garden edgings and carpets, and look simply fantastic in rock gardens.
Caring for this type of plant is simple. They prefer full sun, and sandy, dry soil that is well-draining. Simply put, sedum thrives in the overly-sunny parts of your garden where everything else is scorched!
