Coral bells are an attractive perennial fern, with attractive, leafy foliage that ranges greatly in colour, from brilliant shades of red, to light yellows with red centres. They are often bred along with foam flowers, to create the popular foamy bells hybrid- though on their own, they still serve as a gorgeous, herbaceous accent to the garden. Who doesn’t love a dash of dramatic colour?
The care of coral bells is simple, as they are happy with any variety of conditions. They will do well in everything from full sun to full shade, and very drought-hardy, being able to survive several weeks without water (though they look a bit nicer when they do receive water!).
