Pothos is another common and well-loved houseplant. A relative of Monstera Deliciosa (Swiss cheese plant), this plant is treasured for its waxy leaves and gorgeous ability to drape. It’s one of the best plants for a hanging basket, adding an earthy and natural touch to any indoor space.

Care is very easy for these plants, and they can take a beating. They can tolerate anywhere from low light, to bright indirect light. They can grow in dry soil, or in a vase of water or aquarium. They will thrive in a nutrient rich soil, but will do well in a poor soil as well.
