Roquette (also known as arugula) is a common and popular herb, often used in salads and sandwiches as a replacement for or in addition to salad greens, and in fact its commonly thought of as a salad green! Arugula is fairly easy to grow, though can require some specific conditions. Arugula, like lettuce, likes colder weather, making it an ideal spring and fall crop. Hot temperatures may cause it to bolt. Arugula likes full sun, and must be spaced apart from other plants, as it likes to have some room.
