Description
Lavender is a favourite amongst aromatherapists, with their gentle fragrance being used to soothe anxiety and aid insomnia. Annual lavender in particular has a weaker scent than herb lavender, but will come back year after year- meaning you won’t have to keep replanting. The blooms are nonetheless gorgeous. In addition to human aromatherapy, lavender is very popular amongst bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds- making it an ideal choice for those wishing to create sanctuaries in their gardens. As a hanging basket, this will gorgeously cascade over the sides of the planter, creating a magical effect.
Care for lavender is easy. This particular variety enjoys bright, but indirect sunlight, preferably in morning sun. They enjoy a well-draining soil. They love water, and should be watered every few days.
