New Guinea Impatiens are a much loved annual, staying in bloom all summer long with a classic, elegant type of flower. Their blooms are especially unique, with a distinct texture and shape that is recognizable from anywhere. These flowers will add a constant burst of colour that will be the envy of the neighbourhood.
Their care is rather easy. They do best in morning sun with afternoon shade. If it is an especially dry or hot summer, they will enjoy up to a full half-day of shade. They enjoy a well-draining potting soil. They are also heavy feeders, and as such should have plenty of organic matter and nutrients to feed on.
