Fuchsia is a popular tropical annual with beautiful, brightly coloured and bell-shaped flowers that hang down attractively. The foliage and blooms are found atop a woody stem, creating an elegant tree-like plant. Often, they are kept in containers. They will look wonderful in any corner of your garden.

Fuchsia requires a little more specific care than other tropical annuals, but it is well worth it for their beauty. Fuchsia enjoys bright and indirect or filtered sunlight. They are rather intolerant of heat, and enjoy cooler temperatures below 27 degrees Celsius. If a hot period is expected, they should be sheltered from it. They are adaptable to many types of soil, as long as it is well draining- fuchsia doesn’t like to sit in water.
