Description

Bougainvilleas are another tropical and much-loved annual, with brilliantly neon-coloured blooms that look like leaves. There are few annual flowers that can truly compare to this one. It is sure to add a tropical jungle touch to any space- which is especially desirable when a vacation is out of the question!

Their care is rather simple, though they require some specific conditions to show their full beauty. They need at least 6 hours of direct sun a day in order to flower in abundance and be fully colourful. They also enjoy heat- it will be perfect in a container against a warm wall. They are also very drought-tolerant, and prefer a deep and full watering every week or two, over shallow waterings everyday.
